Ohio Appellate Court Judge
What does an Ohio Appellate Court Judge do?
Ohio’s Appellate Court judges must be attorneys with at least six years of law experience. Ohio has 12 appellate districts, each served by a Court of Appeals sitting in each county of the district. The Courts of Appeals have original jurisdiction to hear applications for writs of habeas corpus, mandamus, procedendo, prohibition and quo warranto. Judges on the court are elected for six-year terms.
